PACE-One G2 - Forklift Speed Limiter

Limit the travel speed of your lift truck without affecting performance.

PACE-One G2 is an easy to install electronic control system that when fully enabled, limits a vehicle’s top travel speeds and modifies acceleration rates. PACE-One G2 ensures safer travel speed(s), reduces fuel consumption and tire wear.  PACE-One G2 is composed of an electronic control module and wiring harness.

Speed Limiter

The new G2 model operates similar to cruise control on a vehicle, using a control scheme called proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control. A PID controller attempts to correct the error between a measured process variable and a desired set point by calculating and outputting a corrective action that can adjust the process accordingly and rapidly, to keep the error minimal - providing a smooth and accurate ride. To simplify the data gathering process, G2 allows the uCal programmer to capture and record voltage and hertz readings while the forklift is traveling. G2 also includes pedal position diagnostic information and data logging.

Throttle Ramp

G2 provides a method for controlling the throttle ramp or acceleration rate. Throttle ramp operates by controlling the time it takes to go from idle to full throttle. For example, when a driver steps on the accelerator pedal abruptly, throttle voltage may jump immediately from .7 to 4.5 volts. Throttle ramp allows the acceleration rate to be programmed in seconds and provide an even acceleration rate, reducing fuel consumption and tire wear.
