Each scanner core is returned to SICK for remanufacturing, where the units are disassembled and remanufactured to OEM specifications. Every component is cleaned and visually inspected for physical failures and conformance with OEM specifications. Any components that do not meet OEM specifications or require engineering upgrades are replaced. Following assembly, all scanners receive a thorough final inspection. Each unit is then calibrated and tested to OEM specifications by SICK in Germany.
