Junghenrich’s Warehouse Navigation Recognized As Innovative Automated Material Handling Solution
HOUSTON (February 12, 2016) – Ending 2015 with a final testament to its leadership in innovation, Jungheinrich® today announced it has been named one of Food Logistics Magazine’s Top 100 Software and Technology Providers for North America. Jungheinrich’s Warehouse Navigation system was recognized in the automated material handling solution category for its unique semi-automated approach that enables customers to achieve nearly 100 percent inventory accuracy and increase productivity by 25 percent. Jungheinrich currently offers four warehouse products, including the EFX 410/413 man-down turret truck, EKX 410 man-up turret truck, EKX 514/516k/516 man-up turret truck and EKS 208/308 order picker that can be equipped with Warehouse Navigation technology.

Jungheinrich’s Warehouse Navigation system uses radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology that allows lift trucks to accurately identify warehouse aisle locations and distances and the most efficient path to get there. Customers can also integrate the system with their existing warehouse management system for a seamless transmission of orders.
