Torque Converters

Each transmission and torque converter core is thoroughly inspected, completely disassembled, and all wear parts are discarded. All hard parts are chemically degreased, cleaned and inspected for damage and conformance with OEM specifications. Any part that does not meet OEM specifications is replaced. Following assembly, all transmissions and torque converters are given a thorough final inspection and tested to ensure like new performance. Transmissions are hot-run tested to ensure correct pressures and checked for noise and leaks. Transmission bearings, seals, gaskets, clutches, friction plates, springs, and o-rings are always replaced with new OEM components. Valve bores and spools are polished or honed. Critical mating surfaces are inspected for flatness and precision machined as needed. Gears and shafts are tested for leakage and general operating condition. Clutch drums are tested for leakage and general operating condition.Clutch packs are air pressure checked to ensure proper operation. Hard parts are chemically degreased, power washed, and inspected for defect or damage. Any hard parts that do not meet OEM specifications are replaced with new OEM components. A comprehensive test report is included with each transmission. Torque converters are pressure tested at 100 psi to check for leaks and weld voids. Impeller hubs, sprags, washers, spacers, inner/outer races, bearings, and o-rings are replaced with new OEM components. Turbine hubs and splines are inspected for wear and replaced as needed with new OEM components. Inner/outer races, rollers, springs, and caps are always replaced. Sprags are tested to ensure proper operation. Hard parts are chemically degreased, cleaned, and inspected for defect or damage. Hard parts that do not meet OEM specifications are replaced.
